Here’s a picture of me in my wedding dress 11.5 years ago and a few days ago. I’m sharing this not to brag (it is a size 16 after all, lol!) but just to say I know.
I know what it’s like to be overweight.
I know what it’s like to just accept that’s the way it’s going to be.
I know what it’s like to despise trying on new clothes.
I know what it’s like to be so busy taking care of others you forget to take care of yourself.
I know what it’s like to feel exhausted and unmotivated all the time.
I know what it’s like to not feel proud of your body.
I know what it’s like to walk into a new place or park and look for the first place to sit down.
I know what it’s like to start over. And over. And over.
I know what it’s like to spend your entire 20s overweight.
And yet…now I know what it’s like to feel strong, to be motivated, to do a double take in the mirror, to have lots of energy, to go off of all medications, to put on something that barely fit when I was 21 and have it fall right off.
Because I know both sides of that…because I have a ridiculous amount of enthusiasm and because I love to help people (even when they don’t ask) I embarked on a new journey. That journey begins as a Beachbody coach with the 21 Day Fix & Shakeology. I believe the 21 Day Fix is a great way to jumpstart a healthy lifestyle. You cut through the noise and learn good habits that will get results. Period. End of story (well there is a lot more to it, lol).
I’ve personally witnessed the transformation that occurs both mentally and physically once a person decides to get right with their health. There is a domino effect there that creates success and momentum throughout a person’s lives.
I know I want to be a part of that for as many people as I possibly can. That’s my goal!
