The name Jumpstart is really just an extended metaphor for what I hope to do for you. (The ‘by Shana’ part is just because I’m apparently not the only one who thought it was a good name.)
Imagine a car that needs a Jumpstart. It might turnover, have fits and starts, sound like it’s going to start but then there’s just no progress. Along comes another car, let’s call her Shana (shockedface), all revved up and raring to go. Shana car hooks up to first car which initially kind of sputters but then it comes to life. But it needs to be kept running for a while before it can go off on its own. However, once it does go off on its own, it’s as strong as ever, good as new. And the best part is it had the power inside all along, it just needed a little Jumpstart.
Yes, it’s corny. Welcome to life with Shana. But it’s just part of my philosophy. I’ve watched people who have fits and starts, tried this and that, but they just can’t get going. They need to be plugged in to something that is ridiculously overpowered (read: overenthusiastic) just long enough to get going and believe in themselves again. I KNOW it’s inside of you and I will believe in you until you believe in yourself. You can siphon off of my energy until you’ve got your own! ☺️
Now I don’t believe your weight or pant size define you. But I do believe in the endless benefits you reap when you get healthy- using nutrition and fitness. I believe it’s a domino effect into other areas of your life. I believe the confidence and happiness that comes from setting and achieving goals spills over and improves all the things. I also believe that doing it together is a super important part of the success and the sustainability of that success. Finally, I believe that fitness and nutrition do not have to be complicated. Furthermore healthy foods do not have to be boring and working out does not have to be soo-crushing-it should be fun!! So I’m here to help! There’s three pathways to that success I mentioned I can help with:
-21 Day Fix Online accountability group that incorporates simple eating plans, simple but effective workouts and daily encouragement & tips. I’ll help you learn about eating the right foods in the right amounts, menu planning, meal prepping and all about forming healthy habits.
-Group fitness classes at my home that come with the support and accountability you need to reach your goals. I focus on reducing body fat by increasing muscle tone.
